To thoroughly implement the requirements of Safety Production Month and strengthen fire safety awareness among all employees as well as enhance emergency response capabilities, the company organized a realistic, end-to-end fire emergency drill for all staff members at noon on June 26. This drill was themed “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond,” and through simulating real fire scenarios, it comprehensively tested the scientific validity and practical effectiveness of the company’s emergency plans.

Clear exercise objectives and thorough preparation.

This fire-fighting live-action drill aims to test the practicality and operability of the company’s emergency response plan by simulating real fire scenarios, refine emergency preparedness efforts, train the emergency response team, streamline emergency mechanisms, and promote emergency knowledge, thereby enhancing employees’ risk awareness and their ability to self-rescue and assist others. Prior to the drill, the company carefully planned and developed a detailed drill plan, clearly defining the responsibilities and division of labor among various departments and personnel, and also prepared ample fire-fighting equipment and life-saving devices to ensure the smooth execution of the drill.

Realistic simulation scenarios · Quick response

The drill simulated a fire accident that occurred in the surface grinding area of the company’s grinding workshop, triggered when an operator inadvertently dropped frozen wax onto a heated electric furnace. Immediately after the fire broke out, the emergency response plan was swiftly activated on-site. Multiple specialized rescue teams—including the volunteer fire brigade, evacuation team, safety protection and medical assistance team, fire scene security team, logistics support team, and environmental monitoring team—responded rapidly and carried out rescue operations according to the pre-established plan. Throughout the drill, all departments demonstrated seamless cooperation, and the rescue efforts were swift and effective, successfully simulating the entire process—from fire alarm activation and initial firefighting measures, to personnel evacuation, fire suppression and rescue, and finally, environmental monitoring.

All staff actively participated, achieving remarkable results.

The company’s senior management attached great importance to this drill, and Li Haizhong, the company’s vice president of production, served as the overall commander of the on-site command center. This drill involved all employees of the company and employed a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, enabling employees to master core skills such as using fire extinguishers and escaping from fire scenes. After the event, participants unanimously expressed that the realistic simulation made abstract safety knowledge tangible and perceptible, significantly boosting their confidence in handling emergencies. This drill not only enhanced everyone’s awareness of fire safety but also improved the company’s overall emergency response capabilities.

The drill proves effective—summarize and improve.

After the drill concluded, the company’s head of safety production summarized and commented on the activity, emphasizing: “This drill was not only a comprehensive assessment of the company’s emergency response capabilities but also a profound educational experience for all employees regarding safety awareness. Through realistic, hands-on training, we identified specific issues in our emergency response procedures and gained valuable insights. Moving forward, the company will address the shortcomings uncovered during the drill by further refining our emergency plans and strengthening training, ensuring that our safety defense line remains rock-solid.”

The successful completion of this fire-fighting live-action drill not only tested the practicality and operability of the company’s emergency response plan, but also strengthened the emergency response team, refined the emergency mechanisms, and accumulated valuable experience for the company in dealing with unexpected incidents. The company has always regarded safe production as the lifeline of its development and has been organizing safety-themed activities every year for many consecutive years. Through regular drills, hazard identification, skills training, and other measures, the company has fostered a corporate culture in which “everyone is a safety officer,” thereby laying a solid safety foundation for high-quality development.
